YOUTH BASEBALL CAMP: FRIDAY, JUNE 7th (5pm-8:30pm)
$45 per camper -Includes camper t-shirt and bracelet
**Deduct $5 per additional camper/per family**
Cost on and after June 1, 2019: $50 (T-shirt not guaranteed)
Registration will close at 160 campers
Ages: 6-12
Equipment: Glove, bat, rubber molded cleats/tennis shoes/turf shoes and water bottle
Time: 5:00 - 8:30 with check-in beginning at 5:00 and camp starting promptly at 5:15 at the University of Iowa Duane Banks Field
This year our staff and volunteer coaches will include former professional baseball players, college coaches and renowned instructors from Diamond Dreams and Velocity Farm baseball. Campers will spend 25 minutes at 6 different fundamental stations, including: hitting, infield, outfield, pitching and the mental game of baseball.
**Campers will have free entry to the High School baseball tournament held the following day at Duane Banks field with their camp bracelet.
The Fight with Flash Crosstown Classic varsity baseball schedule for June 8th is:
Noon: Clear Creek Amana vs. Iowa City Liberty
2:30pm: Iowa City Regina vs. City High
5:00pm: Solon vs. Iowa City West

SAVE THE DATE! 2019 CROSSTOWN CLASSIC TO BE HELD JUNE 8TH!
The Crosstown Classic Baseball Tournament was first held in 2015 to assist the family of local superhero Austin “Flash” Schroeder. Austin had just recently died after a courageous and inspiring year-long battle with lymphoma. In the 2016, 2017 and 2018 tournaments, all proceeds went to the Fight With Flash Foundation, which was formed in Flash’s honor.
The Fight With Flash Crosstown Classic Baseball Tournament will include activities for youth of all ages, and 3 Varsity High School baseball games featuring Solon, Regina, West, City, CCA and Liberty High Schools.
Imagine having your company’s name or logo displayed as a primary event sponsor! In addition this year, we will be featuring a “special edition” souvenir program. Your contributions to this event will go to the Fight with Flash Foundation, which directly benefits cancer research for the Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Patients at The University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics.
