A MILLION WAYS TO WIN THE DAY! DONATING $1,000,000!
What an incredibly special day! 
In December of 2024 on our FWF Day of Giving, we had the privilege of presenting this year’s fundraising check to the Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer Program at the UI Children’s Hospital in the amount of $150,022.22!
This moment is extra special because it pushes us over the $1 MILLION mark in donations from our 9 years of fundraising!!! Wow! We are beyond grateful for the love, generosity, and support from our incredible FWF Foundation board members & our community who have helped make this milestone possible.
A special shout out to all the doctors, nurses & staff who continue to help make a difference for so many at this hospital! We know firsthand the impact that they make as they touched our hearts during Austin’s battle & became family to us.
In addition to the check, we were honored to deliver gift cards to patients and families at the hospital…….just a little reminder that they’re not fighting alone. Cancer doesn’t care if it’s a holiday, but together, we can bring light, hope, and support to those who need it most.
And, as if the day wasn’t meaningful enough, we received a special sign: the Wordle of the day was “FLASH.” It’s moments like these that remind us Austin’s light continues to shine so brightly.
A special thank you to the UI Center for Advancement for hosting a wonderful reception for us at Kinnick to celebrate this achievement. Together, we’ve created #1MillionWaysToWinTheDay, and we couldn’t be more thankful.
